HOW TO BECOME CERTIFIED?
Our certification process involves downloading our ebook to understand how chemical leaching from the use of plastic in food storage, preparation, serving, and cleaning poses a genuine risk to food integrity and consumer health.
Once potential areas for improvement are identified, your establishment must take proactive steps to implement plastic free alternatives. We offer suitable alternatives, helping to avoid ‘green washing,’ and enabling businesses to choose the most healthy and sustainable options but these are recommendations only and welcome companies to implement their own suitable solutions.
ASSESSMENT
Aided by our checklist, you must reach a minimum of 70 points to be considered for certification. We will invite you to participate in an online assessment to discuss how you have implemented change in the four impact areas, food storage, preparation, serving and cleaning. Our team reviews each assessment thoroughly, ensuring that your establishment has met enough points for certification.
